But she drew a burst of interest in March, when she was mentioned as a potential replacement Hope Hicks as communications director. There's been some tense fights. Schlapp has sided with Tony Sayegh. He was running for office. They began sparring in media. Schlapp said that when that the Washington Examiner ran a story which contained negative criticisms of Sayegh she sat down for a chat with Sayegh.
