Pawel Tomasz Wesiliwski, formerly known by the name Paul Wesley, is an winner of numerous awards for his work as a director, actor and producer most well-known for his part in the well-known television drama show The Vampire Diaries. He has been recognized with numerous nominations and accolades for his performances on this show such as Teen Choice Awards. He was born in New Brunswick New Jersey in the United States Wesley showed an enthusiasm for acting in the time of his education. Then he enrolled at Rutgers University. In the end, he realised that his acting skills could lead to a successful career, he decided to withdraw from Rutgers. The first time he appeared on TV appearance on American TV soap opera Another World. He was the lead character on Wolf Lake, a CBS TV series that aired two years later. After he took on the role of Stefan Salvatore for the American popular TV program The Vampire Diaries, his career changed. He also directed a few episodes of the series as well.
